The PlayStation Portables (PSP) Essentials Range of software, originally revealed by Electronic Theatre last month, has received a number of new additions courtesy of THQ. Revealed early this morning, the likes of Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights, MX Vs ATV Untamed, Avatar: The Legend of Aang and Marvel Super Hero Squad are joining LocoRoco, Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters and Patapon 2 in the budget line-up of PSP software known as the Essentials Range.
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) has revealed a new range of videogame titles launching at retailers across Europe next month for the PlayStation Portable (PSP). The summer promotion, known as PSP Essentials, features a number of classic PSP titles at a new, lower price.
WorthPlaying contacted SCEA to find out if it planned to match the PSPgo Rewards program announced by SCEE this morning and was told that Sony had no plans at this time to match the European offer. There hasn't been any announcement yet that there will be an equivalent rewards program for North America...

Pocket Gamer has picked up on exclusive information that Glu is currently localizing the hit PSP game, LocoRoco, for the European mobile market. Titled LocoRoco Hi, Pocket Gamer has more details and screenshots on the biggest new mobile announcement this year.
PSPfanboy: Those of you lucky enough to have a Japanese Playstation Network ID will be able to jump onto the Playstation Store (via PC or PS3) and download the brand new Patapon demo. However, be warned! This quirky game is best played when fully understood.
MAXCONSOLE: Mr305 has released the first ever piece of PSP homebrew that adds motion sensing support for a commercial game. The homebrew utilizes the Neo Motion Kit and it allows you to tilt the PSP either left or right in order to let Loco's do their magic.
