Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights

Can the handheld version juice the next-gen game?

The graphics are very impressive for the platform, and Juiced 2 feels like a much more convincing fit for the handheld format. The D-pad has never felt so right for steering - this is a pleasure to play. It’s just a shame the car damage hasn’t made it in, but considering how close a conversion this is, it’s something we don’t really miss.

If you bought both versions, you’d essentially have the same game in your pocket as in your living room. Which would be nice, but we’ve only ever done that with the very special OutRun 2006: Coast 2 Coast. Hot Import Nights isn’t up there with that. But definitely get this if you don’t have it on a next-gen console.

You'll love
  • Fine PSP racing effort
  • Crammed with detail, modes
  • Graphics are very impressing
You'll hate
  • Better than the PS3 version
  • No car damage available
  • Nothing else, really
