It didn’t even seem odd if whole games were made up of dozens of little ones. Nowadays we use minigame mechanisms to open doors, enact fancy stealth kills, slaughter bosses or open chests. Minigames are everywhere, be it shoving boulders in Conan, coercing peasants in Oblivion or doing anything at all in Thrillville or ...

Jackass The Game to Bring Pain and Stupidity on Nintendo DS (News)

If you think you can handle stupid stunts, stupid pain and general stupidity on two screens, then you will be really happy to hear that Jackass The Game will be released for the Nintendo DS console, after it has been released for the PlayStation 2 and PSP systems.

In Jackass The Game for the DS players are challenged to prove what they're worth to the cast of Jackass across five open-ended environments, everything while showing some serious "Jack-robatics". Also, players will have the options to create their own character and unlock a near limitless combination of customizable items and outfits (like a tiny pair of g-strings could be called outfit!). To make it even easier for those who like the stunts made by Johnny Knoxville & Co., players can now rise their attributes in order to perform those stunts with ease.

The game also has a multiplayer mode, allowing friends to compete against each other through a range of head to head challenges. So if you are insane or you like insane stuff, Jackass The Game is the title for you. But read really carefully the warning that says that the stunts featured in the game are performed by professionals, so you shouldn't attempt anything from the game. Really, now, the guys doing the show are too many, already! Let them be and let you be... healthy and sane. Because that's all that matters.

The game is rated "T" for Teen by the ESRB and a release date has yet to be announced.
Sept 25, 2007

An ambulance has just arrived and its lights are flashing. The Ex-Jackass director lies sprawled on the cement and the camera has been dropped. It looks bad but quickly gets worse as you learn that he's "sprained his vagina." How will the boys film their new season without a guy to hold the camera? Will they find a new professional director? Use a tripod? Become an animated series? No, it's up to you - the guy who happened to be standing there when the accident happened - to ...
Aaron Rigby, producer on the upcoming Jackass game, has given a short Q&A that touches on what we can expect from the PS2 and PSP bone-breaker.

Where did the inspiration come from for the game?

Aaron Rigby: The original series was the biggest inspiration. It was just crazy and creative. The way the Jackass crew had the show set up gave us the opportunity to draw from a huge amount of stunts.

Is the game based in actual sketches or are they completely new?

Rigby: Nearly every stunt is ...
Listen, we thought we were just gonna kick some people in the balls. We didnt realize there were going to be financial considerations to worry over in Jackass. But thats the burden youre forced to bear when you take over as the shows producer after Jeff Tremaine (the regular producer) gets taken out of commission with what Johnny Knoxville calls “a sprained vagina.”

But dont be too scared. All youre really worried about is completing enough goals per episode so that MTV will dip ...
Shopping carts, downhill slopes, thongs, paintball guns, rolling garbage cans, bumper cars, rooftops, golf carts, unicyles, and another load more thongs are expect to feature heavily.
