The latest Indy never really threatens to buck that old film to game trend (mediocrity hastily boxed up for quick cash injection) but it’s not a total flop. The purpose-built story packs in plenty, though it could be longer.

Combat is fun, if over-simplified, allowing a few different moves to string together for combos. Given the game’s heavy reliance on fisticuffs though, this quickly gets repetitive. ...

We've been trying to get a handle on the plethora of PlayStation games that will be on display from June 2 through June 4, and it's quite astounding. If you weren't excited about the prospect of new announcements for the PlayStation brand, what if we told you there will be over 75 unique PlayStation games on display - that we know about?! While many are multiplatform titles (though the best still appear to be Sony-exclusive), it is a large increase from last year's showing."

There aren't too many details about Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings, but we hope to match from past installments in the franchise".

Spong: Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings, the next interactive outing for the whip wielding archaeologist, has slipped back to early June.

Don't worry, it's not too heartbreaking for those of us who've been waiting for an Indy experience that doesn't involve ***CENSORED FOR KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL SPOILERS***. The game will now be released on June 12th for Wii, DS, PS2 and PSP.

Staff of Kings had previously been listed for a May 22nd release.
