Dissidia Final Fantasy details have once again been spotted and this time, they're coming from Japanese game magazine Famitsu. the game's producer Tetsuya Nomura, director Takeshi Arakawa, and planning director Mitsunori Takahashi all sat down with the publication and answered a few questions.

First on the agenda was the question of why the game is taking so long to finish. The devs answered that the team doing it is pretty young and adjusting was one of the most time-consuming parts of development. As for how far along into completion the team has gone, they said they're at about 50 percent and that character models are almost completely sealed.

Plenty more at the source!
In an awfully nice way of putting it, Final Fantasy II has never been much of a series favorite. But at least in the past it was packaged with its superior predecessor – most recently 2004s Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls for the GBA. With that option staring you in the face, why would anyone with a GBA or DS (roughly 98% of the Earths population, at last count) spring $30 for this 20th anniversary edition PSP stand-alone? Well, theyre not too overwhelming, but there are a few ...
You may recall back in January when we told you about Square Enix's plans to re-release the first two installments of its increasingly inaccurately-titled Final Fantasy series for the PSP. These are, of course, the centerpieces of the company's 20th anniversary celebration of the first game's 1987 release. Although you generally can't go wrong with early Final Fantasy, we'll confess that we'd have been perfectly content with some delicious cake or even a birthday card with a five dollar bill ...
Three Final Fantasy games are in the works for PSP, with Square Enix bringing Final Fantasy Anniversary Edition, Final Fantasy II Anniversary Edition, and enhanced remake Final Fantasy Tactics: The Lion War to Sony's gleaming handheld.

The two Anniversary Edition titles will be remakes of the original Final Fantasy adventures, with the first game's Anniversary Edition including the new dungeon featured in the recent GBA release. Both will still be in 2D, but enhanced for PSP's high-contrast ...
