Enough about Project Failz until it actually is shown playable. MAG is playable. Mass Effect 2 is playable.

Project Failz is not.

Great article...except for a few missing...
God of war 3- "possibly the most gruesome game ever"
Modern Warfare 2- "adding new elements never before seen in first person shooters"
and Brutal Legend- "first ever true awesome "not guitar hero" rock and roll game"
most of those games look awesome too

I am really excited for pretty much all of these games. But still Starcraft 2? that surprised me and I was going to get it anyway. I also need to go play Mass Effect. Can't just start in the middle of a series can you?

Not to be a buzzkill but--
rev·o·lu·tion·ize

"revolutionize." Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary. 2009.

I don't see any of these games, besides Procect Natal (which as you said, is technically not a game), doing anything of the sort. ...Though I am really excited for quite a few of them.
I guess "Upcoming games that might be pretty good" isn't really a good title for an article.

@Dibbz

"Internet gaming kind of a good idea due to the fact that i wont have my beloved games all scrathed sinces it on the internet...but then agen somehow it doesnt feel right."

You made me laugh. "Internet gaming" has been going on for quite some time now. Its great for many reasons, the least of which is that your games don't get scratched up.

Mass Effect 2 will no doubt be amazing. But I highly doubt the Disney bullshit games will be revolutionary at all. And I still have no interest in Natal at all (huh, that rhymed). Especially after the rumor that Halo: Reach would use it. Please let that rumor be false (someone needs to create a "face" like :) for crossing your fingers).

Where's Bayonetta?

LAST GUARDIAN AND SCRIBBLENAUTS FUCK YEA!
FriendlyFire  - 4 months 26 days ago
Many of those look GOOD, but not necessarily revolutionary. Mass Effect 2, Tiger Woods, Scribblenauts, Heavy Rain, The Old Republic, Natal and Borderlands have potential to be. The rest of the lot are evolutionary steps (remember that doesn't stop them from being excellent games in themselves).
RedOutlive10  - 4 months 26 days ago
How about Rage? The mix of FPS combat and vehicle combat can be quite fun and refreshing.

i think that this should have been a top 10 rather than a top 20... there were a few that i thought were pretty cool, like Mass Effect, MAG, Splinter Cell, Star Wars, APB, Diablo 3, and Starcraft 2.

wait... thats actually a top 7. how about that one!?
Trollimanitee  - 4 months 26 days ago
Im crapping my pants right now im so excited for Mass Effect 2. Oh and the Last Guardian will prolly hurl me over the edge to get a ps3. Shadow of the colossus was by far my fav ps2 game
FrozenImplosion  - 4 months 26 days ago
Can't wait for Project Natal, Heavy Rain, and a lot of the others!!!
game-thugsta  - 4 months 26 days ago
desperately want mass effect 2
AuthorityFigure  - 4 months 26 days ago
The justification for "Batman: Arkham Asylum" seems undeniably weak. Also, Any "* Hero" game is less a game than a craft.
TheHumbleSlave  - 4 months 26 days ago
I've been excited for APB and Heavy Rain for a while. But if pushing back the release dates will make the games better then I'm fine with that.
BigBossOSE  - 4 months 26 days ago
@JayLin22 Nope. There is never a good excuse for that.
