Mortal Kombat? King of the bloody games, easy. Doom? No better feeling than perforating demons from hell into pulpy heaps. Dead Rising ? Trauma Center? Gears of War? Yep, yep, yep - seen 'em. You've played these visceral thrills already - hell, everybody has.

What you need, as a true connoisseur of violence, are the bloody games that everyone else missed. Maybe these games came out when some other game was getting all the attention; maybe they're a little older than your friends' memories; maybe they simply had nothing else better going for them than copious amounts of crimson corpuscles. Shadow of Rome was an amazing game but kinda felt immature with the gore... like it was there olny gimick. Would have been an amazing game if i could take it seriously.
