Parappa the Rapper (PSone, 1997)
While the PS2 sequel's sound was crisper, it's the original that we remember best. And, going back to it ten years on (has it really been that long?), it's still awesome. Rapping was on a resurgence at the time thanks to Eminem finding mass market success. And with PlayStation really hitting its stride, this was the classic result. Kick, Punch, it's all in the mind...
