Make a man
SmackDown’s Create-a-wrestler (CAW) mode is virtually unchanged from the version in last year’s game - but that’s actually to your advantage. Here’s how to make the in-game wrestlers look so real, their mother would recognise them...
1) Start with the face. We’re making Big Daddy V, so we’ve picked a face template that approximates his looks (number 7) then tweaked it until it looks right. It’s best to do this with a photo of the superstar you’re copying on hand, just in case you can’t remember what his chin looks like.
2) Dress him up. SmackDown caters to most normal wrestling outfits, but bear in mind that if you can’t find the kit you’re after you can always combine layers. For instance, here we’ve used three separate tattoos to get the distinctive look of V’s.
3) Now make his body. Most wrestlers have their heights and weights listed (find them by Googling them or looking for them on Wikipedia), but you’ll need to tweak their arms and legs so they’re in the right proportions. For instance, here we’ve put all of Big V’s belly stats up to the max, because he’s one horrible bloater you wouldn’t want to fight for a chicken wing.
4) The finishing touches. Because this is V, you’ll want to make him a bad guy. He’s also hardcore and a powerful-type wrestler, so set his moves to reflect that.
