Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles

Castlevania movie gets backed by $200m financing

Resident Evil director on board. At least it's not Boll

Tekken and Castlevania movie production company Crystal Sky Pictures has secured $200 million dollars in financing money, in part to green light a Castlevania movie.

According to Variety, the movie will be written by Paul 'Resident Evil' Anderson and directed by Sylvain White. Who made 'I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer.' Nice to see Crystal Sky is investing its money wisely, there.

Crystal Sky Pictures is also responsible for the new Tekken movie, which we posted costume photos from yesterday.

Other titles to be produced with the money is a sequel to John Woo's excellent action movie 'Hard Boiled,' which last year's game Stranglehold was also a sequel to. No word yet if the movie will be based on the game.

Oh, and a big screen adaptation of Pac-Man. No joke.
