      DICE, Bioware and Visceral were officialy confirmed for coming Star Wars games. I just want KOTOR 3 not some VII bullshit. They are going to crap the hell out of star wars with the new movies anyway. It's all in the books and games and they will change the complete timeline and everything. Luke should have a Jedi academy, Han and Leia a son Anakin that falls to the dark side. If that doesn't happen in movies, I give up Star Wars.

      Now wait a minute here people, I left a comment earlier expressing my disbelief that creators of more franchised games would come off this harsh compared to Indie devs, but still like half the comments here are about people losing respect for these devs and how these guys are assholes. Thats all kind of hypocritical, I mean these guys are reacting negatively to criticism that they are receiving on a mass scale, I mean I don't want to go in to the whole videogames are art thing because I'm not even sure where I stand on that, but whenever anyone makes anything and they decide to share it with others, the last thing they want is a bunch of criticism. So what if they said something stupid at the time, hell we all say shit five times as bad as soon as someone disagrees with us on the comment section here in GR. I'm just saying that because all the dumbasses that run social media make celebrities look like they're above mere mortals but as soon as they fuck up its front page shit, doesn't mean we should be treating our favorite game devs like that, its complete bullshit and whenever you put to much into anything you're bound to be disappointed when your expectations aren't met.

      I love how upfront the article is: "Time to start a flame war." And started it has. I'll sit quietly on the sidelines, gaming, while other people bitch at other people on the 'net about this game, that console, this CEO, when they should be gaming. I'm guilty of it too, but no longer. We, as gamers, need to evolve beyond petty slap-fights perpetuated via angry, hate-filled words.

      his wording is obviously vague, but i think his point is the idea that, for example, if everyone of african descent chose to not be insulted or offended by the 'n' word, or homosexuals ignored the 'f' word, that their power would diminish to the point of irrelevancy. those who fight to erase these words and ideas are actually giving them power by saying that they can be effective tools of hate. this perpetuates the shared notion that these words or ideas carry actual weight, when really, action is what you're worried about. i can't tell someone what to think, no matter how fucked up i might perceive their thoughts to be. it's not my place. i can, however, call them a piece of shit that the world would honestly be better off without if they act on those thoughts. honestly, it's a pretty progressive concept, and it could be that the only way (not holding my breath) hateful words or ideas will be eradicated from our societies is if their power is disarmed. a lofty, if not impossible goal, but we have to hold out hope that one day, 'human' will just mean 'human'. by the way, my views on racism aren't what i'm trying to point out here, just trying to clarify for frieza (feel free to tell me how off i am:).

You need to escape the room but each time you do you end up in the same room but without the solution you used to escape the first time and the things outside the window has changed like Godzilla attacking a preschool. This pattern continues until you are in the room with no solutions left except close the game. And that's how you win.

      the game industry is becoming less and less forgiving of studios these days. Gone are the days when you could put out an average day and make a return, nowadays gamers demand strong games and will let you, and your potential consumer base, know within hours of release if a game hasn't lived up to expectations. Social media meant that Colonial Marines sold far less than it would've without social media around by simple word of mouth. A few thousand people bought it, hated it, let millions know about it, no-one else bought it. It's a harsh fact of life, but hopefully it'll bring out the best in developers

      It's honestly sad to see these poor guys and gals lose all of their jobs, even if the game* that they all tag-teamed up to create was painfully generic, I can just tell that they all must have had high aspirations of making it big in the very brutal and very unforgiving gaming industry... :r My heart goes out to those that lost their jobs and livelihood... *I don't count A:CM as a "game" per-say, but, more of a disasterpiece, a mural of shit.
