300: March To Glory

300: March To Glory shows off first screens!

Ancient Greece is back, and these screens show it off

Take a good first look at Warner Brothers Interactive's new Roman era epic 300: March To Glory. The game is inspired by the upcoming movie 300, which is, in turn, based on Frank Miller's graphic novel. You'll be able to fight as one of the 300 Spartan soldiers lead by King Loenidas to take down Xerxes and his Persian army in a retelling of the Battle of Thermopylae.

These shots show that the featured weapons, sword, shield and spear, promise plenty of potential for the blood-thirsty gamer to hack, slash, dismember and decapitate his enemies. Look for some brutally intense fight scenes set against an ancient Greek back drop, when 300: March To Glory unsheathes sometime in march of this year.

Hmmm. I think the people who posted this article have pretty much covered it all. The movie 300 is actually quite a long and good movie, and to think that to go beyond the movie in this video game, is quite a feat. Well done!
