The latest firmware upgrade for the PSP has just been released, which allows the PSP to log onto the internet via T-Mobile hotspots.
This means that users will be able to surf the web, download pod-casts and play games online when in range of a T-Mobile access point, which are positioned in Borders bookstores, Starbucks and Hyatt Hotels across the country.
The new update also ups the maximum resolution of videos that can be played on the PSP, so now you can watch movies off the memory card at a crisp 720x480 pixels - the screen's native resolution. It also adds thumbnail support for video and RSS content.
You can grab the update from the official site.
