you guys need to give it a chance i honestly liked everything they showed off the controller looked cool i liked all the games they showed off and the reason we haven't seen the system was probably because they haven't confirmed a system design that looks good.

I expect to see, oh, I don't know, perhaps an ACTUAL SYSTEM AT A SYSTEM REVEAL! Sony had a chance to blow it out of the water tonight and instead, they only made some nice sized waves. MS better blow me away!

Would you have rather seen the physical console if it meant seeing less games? Who cares what the system looks like, honestly? last i checked, you don't buy a system for it to look pretty, you buy it to play games.

When "someguy" Cereny that pretty much sounded like "Sony" came, DAT CRASH BANDICOOT MUSIC. But then i remember that Crash is with Activision and that they are holding him hostage :(

Well I'm interested to see more of the announced games. I don't really have any complaints about the non backwards compatibility or the controller. In fact I think those features sound pretty nice, and this idea of setting up the console as a server where you can do more from sounds interesting. I'm curious to see that idea of jumping into someone's game in particular.

    THIS WILL BE EPIC

I just hope they have more 3d games this go-round!
  • Rowdie - March 1, 2013 9:26 a.m.

More exciting to me than 3d games, is two player games using the same tech. Instead of each eye getting its own image to create the 3d effect, each player gets their own image.

Available for pre-order from ShopTo for £399. I was hoping the price would max at £350, but we'll see.

Anybody else think the guy presenting Infamous was a bit melodramatic?
  • BladedFalcon - February 20, 2013 5:54 p.m.

I thought he did a good job in setting the tone, personally.
  • Falcon4196 - February 21, 2013 7:43 a.m.

Yeah. It's nice to see another Infamous, but yeah the whole there is no privacy thing was a little over the top and more than a litle reminesiant of WatchDogs

I wonder how much I should brace my wallet... I assume no backwards compatibility will lower costs some.

Hmm, overall, I was impressed. I like the small but neat details of being able to instantly turn on and off the console, and the promise of having no load times seems like at last a reasonable, possible reality. I don't really give a carp about the entire sharing shenanigans, but that was cool nonetheless, i guess. Also, I don't really like that they are still trying to push the whole motion controller crap with that sensor bar, I'd have hoped Sony would have learned it's Lesson by now with the move, but oh well, at least the DualShock's core design remains unchanged, which is a big plus for me, haters can say all the crap they want, but the DualShock main design has remained for 3 entire console generations, and now 4, for a reason: it works on every level. Lastly, the games, don't really care too much about KZ: SHadowfall or the racing game, but Infamous Second Son looks really promising, so does the witness and Watchdogs, even if that one isn't going to be an exclusive title. ...That crap Media Molecule pulled though.. *facepalms* DIDN'T THEY LEARN NOTHING FROM THE IDIOTIC PRESENTATION OF WII MUSIC???
  • shawksta - February 20, 2013 6:11 p.m.

What they were presenting was otherwise cool in concept though. Frankly im pretty sure it was a full video with people in the BACK for the sole purpose that people wont make gifs XD
  • BladedFalcon - February 20, 2013 6:21 p.m.

Eh, honestly that felt like the most fake shit to me. Essentially all they did was to pseudo control two puppets via the shitty move wands and then pretend they were making music by waggling like imbeciles, when they obviously didn't. Certainly, it was better presented than the Wii Music fiasco, but to me it still feels like a thoroughly idiotic concept as it was 5 years ago.
  • shawksta - February 20, 2013 7:56 p.m.

Im honestly interested frankly. The whole pupeteer thing looks good in concept, but lets see how it is in execution. Thats how most things in general are. They look good on Paper, but then when executed poorly, throws them off big time. But then when that time when it just NAILS it, its one heck of a good time.
  • BladedFalcon - February 20, 2013 8:03 p.m.

Only thing that makes me have a sliver of interest it's taht it's still a Media molecule game, and the LBP games have delivered pretty fully in their promises. Again, this demo didn't impress me at all on account of the heavy wii music flashbacks, (Which, for the record, to me has to be one of the worst, most embarrassing moments in Gaming history.) but if someone could make such an eccentric idea work, it could be media molecule.

Heres hoping Blizzard will show off Titan MMO at Blizzcon for Pc's and next gen consoles
  • tomasspipass - February 20, 2013 5:38 p.m.

Also, I think that if the spec of the next gen xbox and ps4 are very similar, the biggest difference between the two will be player created content. Currently playstation allows that but xbox does not. If next gen xbox still does not allow players to make their own content Microsoft will be shooting themselves in the foot. With the big focus of always online social driven experiences and sharing, I think this will be a big deal. Also, the bungie team looked like a boy band.. no disrespect though guys, im very impressed with destiny
