Lara Croft's adventuring crown is under threat, but her rival isn't just another run-of-the-mill female explorer. The new contender for most pneumatic videogame mistress is Rubi, and she’s not content with merely pegging it around dingy caves. This girl gets her kicks on the streets.

Taking up the leading role in Wet, Sierra's newest third person adventure title, Rubi looks like she has been watching Miss Croft very closely and developing up some of her own little tricks along the way.

Wielding dual pistols and a samurai sword, for those more intimate moments, our new favourite heroine certainly looks the part. And with the game’s script is being crafted by a lead writer from hit TV show 24 we’re confident that a engrossing story will complement the fantastic looking action.

Wet is expected to be released, on as yet undisclosed formats, in 2008. Keep your eyes glued to GamesRadar for more info as we get it.
