Dylan Jobe reiterated some points PS3Fanboy touched on previously, but also had a very strong statement that is sure to please Warhawk fans: "To earn the Warhawk Platinum Trophy, all you have to do is unlock the base game's 44 Trophies...you do *NOT* have to buy any DLC to unlock the Platinum Warhawk Trophy. Forcing players to buy our DLC would be super-craptastic and completely unacceptable." That should calm all you hardcore Warhawk players.

"New details regarding multiplayer accomplishments."
With the announcement of Firmware 2.40, PS3 owners learned that nine first-party titles would be slated to offer Trophy support. One of those games listed was Warhawk, Incog. Inc's multiplayer flight action game.
IGN contacted Dylan Jobe, producer/director at Incog. Inc., to find out exactly what was going on with the Trophy scheme.

Dylan Jobe has announced Warhawk trophy information on the US Playstation forums.
* There are 10 trophies based on the Warhawk's current stats/rank/awards system. Like getting all your Bronze badges, attaining a specific rank, or earning a number of medals.
* There are 34 trophies that are entirely *new* rewards based on Warhawks core game and not based on our current stats, ranks or other awards.
* There are then 4 trophies per booster pack that are, of course, completely new awards.

We don't know much about the version 1.4 patch besides that it will include minimum rank options and further enhance game-launching from within PlayStation Home.
However, today we learned a little more as one user, Gnob, on the PlayStation.com forums showed screen captures (presumably from Home's updated game-launching interface). The "Play List" option allows for the original modes (CTF, Deathmatch, etc.) but also introduces new modes: Hero mode and Collection mode. Should be interesting to see what kind of gameplay changes are on the way.

The competition is open to everyone and submissions can be posted in the official Warhawk forums. 1337pwn, who developed the Xbox Live application for iPhone (also compatible on browsers, Blackberries, etc.) recently developed a "Warhawk" scoreboard application, too.
There's not much functionality to the "Warhawk" application yet, and it's only designed for use on the iPhone and iPod Touch. You can view it through a browser just fine, though. The application is a little limited, however, because Sony doesn't have a community outreach program yet."

The version 1.3 patch for Warhawk will be released today between 10am and 4pm GMT, adding new equipment and other enhancements.
Between these hours, Sony will shut down the Warhawk servers for scheduled maintenance, and warns players that, while they'll be able to log into PSN and download the new patch, you won't actually be able to play until the servers are back up and running. The Warhawk servers have now gone down for maintenance until 4PM GMT. However they have now made the v1.3 update available for download. To download the new update just start up the game and it will ask you to download the new v1.3 update. Its as easy as that.
The new features that are in the new update are as follows:
*BIO-FIELD EMITTER (Creates a zone of healing for allies and a zone of damage for enemies)
*MECHANIC FIELD WRENCH (can be used to repair allied vehicles and turrets as well as damage enemy vehicles and turrets)
*Integration of Contest Winner Insignias and Paint Schemes
*.50cal turret targeting enhanced
*Point value update for CTF defend and flag-carrier kill
*CTF Sudden-Death trigger fix
*Disabled CTF Flag throw/drop functionality
*New VOIP Functionality
*HOME Game-Launching
Once you've downloaded the update you'll be ready to play when the servers go back up at 4PM GMT.

Servers will be down for roll-out of the Warhawk v1.3 client-side patch and a concurrent server-side update. Servers will be unavailable Wednesday, April 2nd between 3am and 9am Pacific (6am-12pm Eastern, 1000-1600 GMT). After this window the client patch will be available for download when you boot Warhawk.
Client-side updates for v1.3 patch:
