In addition to the recently revealed premium downloadable content (DLC) for THQs popular Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine videogame, another portion of free DLC has been announced. All players of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine on all formats will soon receive a brand new multiplayer gameplay mode.
Alongside the recently revealed downloadable content (DLC) poack set to bring even more new gameplay modes to THQ and Relic Games popular Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine videogame, the publisher has revealed new DLC that is a touch more on the cosmetic side. Currently expected to arrive next month, players will be able to purchase new skins for their Space Marine troops.
Having already gifted players with a free DLC update in the form of the Exterminatus pack, THQ is gearing up to release the first paid download content for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine next month. The Chaos Unleashed pack adds new areas and enemies to the four-player co-op Exterminatus mode, as well as additional maps for the original multiplayer section of the game. There's also a new multiplayer mode on the way for non-paying customers...
Scott from The Controller Online writes: "THQ announced today that Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine will be getting more DLC in December. First off, Capture the Flag will be added, for free, to all multiplayer maps, sometime in December. Second, THQ will be offering the Premium Add-On pack which will include three new multiplayer maps, as well as the addition of a new co-op mode to Exterminatus called Chaos Unleashed."

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine's first DLC, the Exterminatus pack, has just launched as a free download. The pack adds Exterminatus mode, which is basically Horde by another name, and as such smells every bit as sweet. Which, given that it's a bloody four-player throwdown against limitless waves of grunting space-cretins, probably isn't all that sweet at all, but it makes for fun times...
