The most intensely analyzed entry in the PS3's game roster is what is currently known as Vision Gran Turismo, the fifth outing for Sony's ultra-detailed racer. So far seen only in short demo movies at E3 2005 and the Tokyo Game Show, the hard data is almost as thin as anticipation is high.

From the videos, it seems as if there will be a lot more cars on the track this time out. Previous entries have been limited to six (including the player) due to hardware and graphics engine restrictions. The PS3 may blow that wide open, and the demo so far has shown what appear to be at least sixteen cars racing at once. There has also been evidence of dynamic lighting that can simulate all the variations of sunlight and artificial illumination.
