Sega has revealed a trailer of its forthcoming next gen beat-'em-up Virtua Fighter 5, which will be released for PlayStation 3 next spring.

The trailer initially focuses on the new additions to the fighting roster - the monkey kung fu expert Eileen and the Rey Mysterio look-a-like El Blaze, but then shows glimpses of all the returning characters.

Of course you'd expect impressive visuals from a PS3 game but it really is worth seeing Virtua Fighter 5 in full flow and witnessing the brutal animation at first hand - just click on the movies tab above to get a taste of the action. Also, VF5 comes across as a beat-'em-up with very few gimmicks, just good, solid scrapping.
