So, normally with this type of review - the type ending in a big score - the criticisms are left to the end. Lets not do that this time - it means finishing on a sour note, and then trying to rope it back with a hasty “But its awesome!” UT3 is insane, and brilliant, so were going to get whats wrong with it out of the way early.

When you chat to everyone at Epic involved with Unreal Tournament III, one thing is apparent - their passion and belief in the game they're making. It's clear that the development team is working like a bunch of miners to get the game done as soon as possible - and while this looks like being November, Epic's ebullient vice president Mark Rein reiterated once again that it'll only be released "when it's done."

Coming off of the massive success of Gears of War, Unreal Tournament 3 - the latest game from Gears developer Epic Games - seems even more exciting.
