why compare it to Gears 2 if they are "poles apart". looks like an amzing game and it is probably going to push me to buy a PS3 this holiday season but don't suck its dick. I will likely be nominated for GOTY and it deserves to be nominated but seriously don't compare to gears 2 if they are so different. I don't think they are but when you guys come on ad say that they are not alike at all and then say U2 is better it just seams weird.

What about the multiplayer? Well at least I can show my ps3 isn't a waste. A 10 though, seems a bit much, that's a very high honor to give. I'll give these two games a shot. Naughty Dog has always been dear to my heart maybe they won't let me down with this.

Pre-ordered this and i'm getting the beta tomorrow. but why are people saying GOTY? have they forgotten about MW2? and I hate to say it, but halo 3:ODST has a chance at GOTY too. but it would surprise the hell out of me if MW2 doesn't win it. but apart from MW2, this is the best looking game i've seen this year, seeing as MAG's been delayed again. but i've got this,MW2 and operation flashpoint 2 on pre-order, with the MW2 combat controller aswell, I'm sorted

oh, crap, i just remembered. my HDD's only got 1700mb left. could GR please tell me the save file sizes for OFP2, MW2 and UC2 please? I really need to know

I've just been reading through the comments on this review and I notice a few of you have been asking about Uncharted 2's multiplayer.

Truth is, I only played as much as those lucky enough to play the Beta recently. Sony offered to set-up games but we were too busy plundering the single player.

From what we can tell from this version we have here is that there are enough game modes and variety for Naughty Dog to have 'done a WarHawk' and released it seperately.

I'm going to wait until the community is established with Uncharted 2 online before making a judgment as this way I can tell if there's any lag, wonky spawn-points and all the other crap that ruins multiplayer games. But with co-op modes (I love playing as Sully) deathmatches, team-deathmatches, CTF and more, plus a perk system to level-up your character and the ability to convert your Trophies from Drake's Fortune into cash to spend on even more goodies in Among Thieves online, it's got the makings of an absolute classic.
