Not only is Tomb Raider Underworld being welcomed into the Xbox 360 Classics and PlayStation 3 Platinum ranges, the game is finally getting a trophy update for the PS3.
Firstly, Eidos today announced that as of today Crystal Dynamics' Tomb Raider: Underworld would become a part of the Xbox 360's Classics range and the PS3's Platinum Hits range.
This means that the game will be priced at a knock-down RRP £19.99 - though you might have found it online cheaper than that anyway. Maybe you'll find it even cheaper after the price cut.

Tomb Raider: Underworld
Tokyo-based Square Enix just completed its full acquisition of U.K. game maker Eidos this week, and has now revealed the latest sales figures in its arsenal of multi-million-selling titles.
Dragon Quest, which will see its ninth numbered sequel this year in Japan, has so far sold 47 million units. The great majority of these sales have been in Japan -- many entries in the series were in North America. The first Dragon Quest game to be released in Europe was Dragon Quest VIII in 2006.
Disney crossover franchise Kingdom Hearts, which so far comprises only two numbered games and one spin-off, has sold 12 million units. Two new portable spin-offs, for the Nintendo DS and PSP, are expected this year.

TheSixthAxis: Eidos have confirmed that a Trophy patch is on it's way to Tomb Raider: Underworld. Keir Edmonds, the Community manager, said; "The guys at Crystal have been looking into this for a long time because they really wanted to include it." No flair, no fireworks, and no exploding volcanoes this time around. However, Tomb Raider Forums member WhiteTiger may have found an alternate ending to Lara's latest trek hidden in the game files on the PC release. Two apparently disgruntled former Crystal Dynamics employees have confirmed the rumored lay-offs at the studio and dished a little inside information about the development of Tomb Raider Underworld, including how the DLC came to be.
[A] anonymous, former Crystal Dynamics employee posting in the forums claims that the decision to cut the content was made specifically to use it later in DLC.
"Ask anyone who is part of it and if they are honest they will tell you around 40% of the DLC was meant to be in the game itself, originally. But it was decided later on to take out those parts because they were expecting most sales on the 360 and the DLC the way it looked at the time was looking to be a bit 'thin'. So we were asked to cut some parts out to be used in the DLC."
