With the Tom Clancy series expanding to five titles this year with the releases of Hawx and Endwar, Ubisoft has said that it is looking into the possibility of creating a "Megagame" within the franchise in order to potentially interweave storylines between each major series.
Spike TV has announced that, at its upcoming Video Game Awards event, it will unveil previews of upcoming titles including Borderlands (2K), Gran Turismo 5 Prologue (Sony Computer Entertainment America), Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 (Ubisoft) and TNA Impact (Midway).
With all the videogames released each and every month, it can be a difficult task to decide on which title to spend your hard-earned money. Granted, you could always go by our review scores alone and weed through the long list of names to find something that scored high or low, but what if you had somewhere else to turn?
That's right, GRAW 2 is the first true world-wide game release on the PS3. And it doesn't stop here. Come September we'll see this happen more and more often. Heavenly Sword and Warhawk (the downloadable version, at least) will be obtainable within days of each other.
When Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 was officially unveiled last December, Ubisoft initially slated all four versions of the game--PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Portable--for a spring 2007 release date. However, the only version to technically fall in that window was the GRIN-developed PC version, which landed a scant four days before the summer solstice. The Xbox 360 version jumped the gun on the spring equinox by two weeks.
