Not so much a cohesive game as a series of "episodes" with co-op play in mind, The Simpsons Game is nonetheless consistently funny, occasionally inspired, not too taxing and diverse. We've played a fair few Simpsons games in our time. It goes with the job - there have been so many they're hard to avoid, like the Army Men games, or Dynasty Warriors (just considerably better). But none have really gone down as classics in the Videogaming Bible of all Things Great (if such a thing existed obviously).

Being one of the few hugely devoted Simpson's fans that religiously watches back to back episodes on cable TV every night, buys the box sets and regularly attempts to defend the recent series lack of form on the pretence they usually have at least one laugh out loud Homer moment, we've been rooting for a decent Simpsons game for years.
