Brotherhood Invitation
If you want to join the Dark Brotherhood, you must kill somebody for no reason other than killing them, and then there will be text in the top left hand corner that says, "Your killing has been observed by forces unknown..." To do this easily, find a hobo and wait until night time. You can find them behind houses or by trees in the town, and when they go to sleep go into sneak mode and attack from behind. Since they have no armor it will be easy to kill them. But to make sure you kill them, poison your blade and use a power attack.

Skeleton Key
At the shrine of Nocturnal, located along the road east of Leyawiin, if you make the proper offering the Daedric goddess will talk to you. She will ask you to find and return the Eye of Nocturnal. If you go to Leyawiin and ask around you will be led to two exterminators, Weebam-Na and Bejeen. Listen in on their conversations and they will say that they fear the trolls will mess with their new "treasure" at Tide Water Cave. Go to the cave and at the end of an underwater tunnel you will find the Eye of Nocturnal. Return to the Nocturnal Shrine, and talk to the goddess. She will then give you the Skeleton Key, an unbreakable lock pick. The pick also gives you a 40 point boost to your security.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Hints
Easy Stealing
If you go into any shop find items on counters that you would like to have. After you find an item you like, knock it to the floor and push it into a dark corner (by the basement usualy works best), and the shop owner will follow you. Now crouch and wait about a second and the sneak cursor will go blank. Pick up your item and use it as you will or (Thieve's Guild members) sell it to a fence. It's really easy and you don't need to run across rooms or kill people first.

Easy Pickings
Entry Location:
In any store
Are you tired of geeting caught by the guards for stealing? Well to avoid this, push the shop-keeper around a wall so he can't see you. This allows you to steal without letting anyone catch you.

Full Deadric Armor
To do this cheat you must be at least level 20. If you haven't already, do the quest "Unfriendly Competition". At the end of the quest you have to kill a man and his companion. The companion will be wearing full deadric. Kill them both, and you have full deadric.

Free Daedric Weps
Entry Location:
Anywhere
First you will need a Blade Skill Of at least 75 (Expert), you also need a spell that can summon a Dremora Lord (doesn't matter if its a normal Dremora). Then try to disarm him, once you've done that, summon a new Dremora so he won't pick up the weapon again. Then you get FREE Daedric weps! You can either sell them or keep them!

Break out of Prison
Entry Location:
Prison
When you are in prison with no lock picks and don't want to wait before you are released go to the gait in sneak mode and wait for a guard to pass. When he does pickpocket him and try to steal the keys, this isn't usually successful (but if it is wait for him to go and open the gate normally) and he will burst in armed with a weapon. When he comes in he leaves the door open so you can escape. If you go left you go into a room with lots of other guards but just keep running until you are away from guards. and then you are free!

Fast Acrobatics
1. You can run and jump up steps, turn around and jump back down, this will get your Acrobatics up faster.
2. Find a bench or counter etc with a roof or something above it so when you jump you hit it and bounce back down to the counter, bench etc, this will make your Acrobatics shoot up! But make sure you're hitting the floor. (Listen for a thud.)

Level Up All the Way for Sneak
Entry Location:
Rufio's place
When you do the first mission for the Dark Brother Hood (A Knife in the Dark) and you are at the Inn of ill Omen, go to the basement where Rufio lives, get down in sneak position and run against the wall. Rufio is sleeping and will never wake up. So, just keep running against the wall and your sneak will begin to level up.

Easy Speechcraft Level Up
You have to have speechcraft as one of your main abilities, otherwise this won't work.
When you persuade people, after a while it will say speechcraft skill increased. Just go up to anyone and persuade them like crazy (the way I did it was they're negative first and the positive last, but it may not matter). Keep going and eventually it will say you need to rest. Rest and level up and do it again.

Make Your Horse Faster
To make them faster, have a decent restoration skill and have the ability to make your own spells. Make a spell that fortifies speed, but make it touch instead of self. (you can do target but if its just to your horse, that's wasting magicka) I made two spells that added up to be 70 speed and it was hilarous how fast my horse was. I recommend 20 to start with, with the longest duration period you can get.
WARNING: it's really easy to kill your horse in turbo mode because when you run over cliffs on your horse it gets hurt. That's why I recommend a small number. And since it's really easy to hurt your horse, it's a good idea to get a restore health spell to heal it. You can usually find those spells at churches.

Lava Swim
In some Oblivion Gates there are pools of lava in your way. (Example: Skingrad Gate, Leyawin Gate)
In Bravil there's a big gate in your way. Instead of going in the cave filled with deadra to get across, you can swim around the gate. To do this you must have a lot of health because the lava takes away a lot. If you're a Nord you can use woad and your health will go down more slowly.

Get Alteration Skill Up Easily
Go to any Mage Guild Hall and buy a lock opening spell (any will do - I used the "Unwelcome Guest"). Find any door that is locked, even if your spell won't open it. Keep using the spell on the door and your alteration skill will go up.

Fix Clavicus Vile Freezing
If you trade the Umbra Sword for the mask you will find the game keeps freezing. To stop the freezing just drop the mask. So I really think that you shouldn't give Clavicus Vile the sword, because then you get nothing.

Arrow Happy
If your character is strong enough to take hits from many arrows then this can help you. Get a bounty, resist arrest, and run somewhere that the guards cannot get to you, but make sure they can still shoot you with their bows. Just sit there and let them fill you up with arrows.

Hiding Weapons on Dagon Shrine
If you're having trouble with the Dagon Shrine quest, before you talk to Harrow, drop your good weapons. After you give him all your things, go and pick up your items again and kick their butts.

Personal Punching Bag
Wondering how you can get your hand to hand skill up? Well, if you go to Cheydinhal you can find out without getting in trouble with the guards there. You can beat up Aldos Othran, he's located somewhere in Cheydinhal. But if you ask anyone in Cheydinhal (exept the Cheydinhal guards) about Fines you will get a mission that involves Aldos Othran (A.K.A. Skooma Boy). If you attack him while on the mission you will kill him, you will fail the mission, and you'll lose you're punching bag (Aldos Othran). The mission is called Corruption and Consience. So as long as you don't do the mission you can have your own personal punching bag all to yourself.

Easy Level-ups
In Leyawin talk to some people in the streets. They should mention rosinta gallentus and how her house smells horrible. Do the easy quest and then take the staff to darkfathom cave just outside of leyawin. Once you're at the shrine in the cave and you have dropped the staff you can kill the scamps forever.

Leveling as High as You Want Past 50
Since the drain skill exploit does not work in this iteration of elder scrolls, the only way to level as much as you want is to get arrested and serve your time. The game will then pick a skill to permanently decrease. The only way to get the skill back is to level it again. If it is one of your major skills it will increase your progress toward your next level. This means that even after you max out all of your skills, you can just go to jail to lower the skill and raise it up again to continue leveling. I don't know how it picks what skill to decrese, but for me it is usually hand-to-hand or alchemy. If you don't get a major skill decreased the first time, or so, just keep trying. Once all of your attributes are maxed out there is still the advantage of gaining health everytime you level.

Good Items
There is one simple and easy way to get good items in the game, do the thieves guild quests. You are usually sent to a place where good items are, and once you get up higher in the guild you get such items as Jak Springheels boots (50+ Acrobatics), and when you finish the last quest you will get the Gray Cowl of Nocturnal (the Gray Fox's mask, it acts as a second identity for your bounty when you wear it, and has 25+ Sneak, 200+ Feather, and Detect Life 120ft, all constant effect).

Frodo
Entry Location:
Unfriendly Competition
During the quest "Unfriendly Competition." On the second-to-last page of the book of deceased people in the Nord's house (I forget his name since I kill him too much) there is a person who died with the following things: An emerald and silver green leaf cape holder, a magical sword, an inscribed ring (cursed perhaps?), a vest, shoes, and a shirt. The name is a pseudonym for Frodo Baggins.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Glitches
Permanent Effect of Boots of Springheel
First you must have completed the Thieves Guild quests without destroying the Boots of Springheel Jak. In order to do that you must simply survive a small fall near the end of the last quest with the boots unequipped.
After that go to the Shrine of Sanguine and get the quest there. Follow what the quest tells you to do and when you cast the spell, guards will try and arrest you. Get arrested. (Don't worry, all your equipment is in a chest at the Shrine of Sanguine, so you shouldn't lose anything.)
After you serve your time, you should have the Boots of Springheel Jak in your inventory. If you try to equip them, it will say "You can not equip this enchanted item at this time." But if you check your Active Effects page under Fortify Acrobatics, it should say that you still have the boost from the boots. You can also feel free to equip any other boots as well.

Free Weightless Daedric Weapons
Entry Location:
Arcane University
After you've gained access to the Arcane University (to do so you must join the Mages Guild), purchase two cheap bound weapon spells. You can get the Bound Dagger spell from the Discount Spells shop in the Imperial City's Market District. Make the second spell you buy bind a weapon that you want to keep.
Go to the Arcane University's Praxographical Center (northeast corner) and create a spell that does Bound Dagger for one second on self. You can repeatedly use this spell to raise your Conjuration skill above level 25, a level you'll need to achieve in order to get the free weightless Daedric weapons.
Once your Conjuration is at level 25 or higher, make a new spell that will cast Bound Dagger and Bound "whatever weapon you want." (If you don't see the option to create a spell that does anything other than Bound Dagger, you'll need to make sure that you can actually cast the other bound weapon spell. If you can't, raise your Conjuration skill even higher.) Make sure that you add the Bound Dagger effect first, then add the second bound weapon effect. Set both effects for a duration of one second.
Cast the spell you've just created and wait for the sound of weapons equipping. Immediately go to your menu and you'll see that the second bound weapon appears in your inventory. Simply drop the weapon and you can then pick it up to keep forever. The weapon has no sell value but it's weightless and pretty powerful. This bug can be repeated as many times as you like, giving you access to an infinite number of Daedric weapons.

Bruma Wall Jump
Enter Bruma at the south gate and walk over to the church and jump off the wall onto the building where you sell stolen stuff in the Thief's guild. Keep jumping over the rooftops and when you get to the house with the big chimney jump on the chimney then jump onto the wall and then you can jump over, and you will be outside Bruma.

Float Glitch
To float all you have to do is gain the water jump ability (with jak springheel boots, or 100 acrobatics) then jump off of the water an on to a mountain or steep hill on a spot that you would normally not be able to walk on. Then while you float you can work your way up onto trails mountains ect. While floating you can attack use spells, do basically everything except jump. The only real use for this glitch (besides being cool) is that you can fly over spots that you would normally not be able to walk over.
WARNING: Be carefull not to come into contact with anything (rock, mountain, and so on) or go over water, because if you do you will fall.

Easy Money
First make sure you have weapon thats worth a lot (exp. Akavari Sunderblade the one I used) and also make sure it's equipped then go to the Horse Whisperer Stables just outside of Anvil and get ready to do this part quick fist open the gate and then steal a horse and ride on out. Now follow the path to the tents below Kvatch and talk to and orc named Batul gra-Sharob but make sure you stay on your horse and barter her, but she has to be right outside her shop tent or else you can't barter her. Now with your weapon that's worth a lot of money equipped sell it to her but it won't go away it will stay in your inventory and you'll still get money for selling it but it will never leave your inventory, I got io $150,000 in 20 minutes. (Only because my weapon got me $200 every time I sold it). Enjoy your money.

Duplicate Item
Equip a bow and any set of arrows, then draw your bow back. While it is drawn back, press B to go to the inventory screen. Select the arrows that you are using, then go to the item to be duplicated. Press X to drop the item, then leave the equipment screen and resume the game. The item that you dropped will be duplicated. You can pick up all the duplicates and use or sell them. The amount of copies of an item you make depends on how many arrows you have equipped. For example, 10 arrows allows 10 copies. This works with most, but not all, items and weapons.

Mage's Guild Recomendation for Leyawiin
During the quest at Fort Blue Blood, if you kill Kalthar before he speaks and then leave, you cannot complete the quest. Once you speak to Dagil back at the guild, she says that 'nothing has changed'. If you try to return to Kalthar's body, the door is locked. This means you cannot continue in the Mage's Guild.
