PS3 owners weren't as overcome with software as they thought they'd be this past spring, but the summer is a totally different story. With a number of high-profile and potentially excellent videogames headed our way over the next few months, the awaited "must own" PlayStation 3 era may finally be upon us. Highlighted below are most of the season's biggest titles, so be sure to look for them at your local retailer between the dual-21sts of June and September.

2K Games has confirmed this morning that The Darkness will launch across Europe on 29th June. It will be available slightly earlier in America, on 25th June, and both console versions will launch simultaneously.
The Darkness coming out for xbox 360 and ps3 will be released June 25th in the US and June 29 in Europe.
New York-based Take-Two today revealed that it currently has 20 games in development for the PlayStation 3, including more than seven titles from Grand Theft Auto house Rockstar Games.
