Apple Corps, Ltd., MTV Games and Harmonix have today released The Beatles' album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (1967) as Downloadable Content (DLC) in The Beatles: Rock Band Music Store. Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is available now for Xbox 360 and Wii, and set to be released this Thursday, November 19th 2009, for PlayStation 3.
GOONL!NE: EA's just announced that Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band will be available for The Beatles: Rock Band next week for the PS3, 360 and Wii.

September showed an increase in sales for most formats, led by the PS3, but analysts warn that this is not a cause for celebration.

If you didn't buy Critter Crunch (shame on you!) then make sure to try the demo releasing this week. PSP owners should be on the lookout for Half Minute Hero, and Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars."
Apple Corps, Ltd., MTV Games and Harmonix today announced the launch of Abbey Road (1969) as the first The Beatles album to be available for purchase and playable as Downloadable Content (DLC) in The Beatles: Rock Band Music Store. With "Come Together," "Something," "Octopus's Garden," "I Want You (She's So Heavy)," "Here Comes The Sun" and "The End" already included on The Beatles: Rock Band game disc, players will now be able to play songs from and complete the entire Abbey Road album.
EA announced the Beatles Abbey Road Album for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Over Xbox Live the album will be available from today, over PSN from October, 29th. Wii owners are able, beginning from today, to download different singles from the album.
DefaultPrime.com has all of the Rock Band updates for the week starting October 19, 2009. Artists include Abbey Road, which will be the first downloadable album for the Beetles: Rock Band.

Speaking with Harmonix at X09 Toronto, theBBPS asked about the future of Beatles DLC after the three announced albums. Much to everyone's surprise, there's nothing firmly in place at this point.
Gameinformer: "Who would you say is the one music superstar who's a natural fit for LEGO Rock Band? How about 62-year-old punk rocker Iggy Pop? The Iguana himself is going to appear in all his plastic glory in Harmonix's upcoming family friendly music game."
