Independent videogame developer, Psyonix, Inc. announced today that their flagship, self-published title, Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars will be receiving a limited time price cut to $4.99 in celebration of October marking the title's first Birthday. The sale will run from October 15th 2009 through October 29th 2009 and is available for download on the PlayStation Network on the PlayStation 3.

Psyonix Developers Psyonix-Corey and Psyonix-Jerad posted the following in the SARBPC forum in a thread about a PSN Sign-out Bug.

Psyonix-Corey wrote: "Sony mentioned a bug they fixed with the next system software update (2.7.0) that might resolve these issues, but we have to narrow it down and verify it's the same problem to be sure it's that and not something we need to fix on our end"

Psyonix-Jerad wrote: "IIRC it will drop later this month. And contain lots of fun new fixes. I'm excited about this one, lots of new stuff. :)

Though, I dont think I can mention any of them just yet."

Unfortunately you've got another week to wait as the game has been suddenly delayed by SCEE until the 29th. A member of the development team has let us know, via the PSNation podcast blokes, that the release date "was changed at the last minute" and that it is "very frustrating since they confirmed the 22nd twice before we announced on our forums."
