Sony Computer Entertainment Asia is bringing in the year of the Rat with a sale on a bunch of downloadable PlayStation Network games. From now until February 14, the games listed at Siliconera will only cost HK$39 (US$5). (You can get those deals if you bother to set up a Hong Kong PSN account and add money to it.)
Super Stardust HD is a brilliantly created title that has very little flaws that aren't covered up by all of the positives. You won't find a better game for the price you pay.
You may have read about some interesting enhancements to European versions of Super Stardust HD on various game sites. Today, the new and improved version of SSHD hits North America.The ability to build custom soundtracks is perhaps the most noticable new feature. Now you can blast away to whatever music you've got stored on your PLAYSTATION 3 hard disk drive. The scoreboard has also gotten a facelift, and now tracks stats such as how long the hi-score session took, and highest difficulty level reached with this score.Best of all, these new enhancements won't cost you a dime. If you've already got SSHD on your PS3, you'll be prompted to download a patch to integrate these new features. If you haven't already tried the game out, this is the time! PS3 owners can download the new demo from the PLAYSTATION Store free of charge this Thursday and then purchase the full version from right within the game.
There's no American PSN update for today, unfortunately, so we'll have to rely on Sony Europe to deliver some nice Christmas goodies for us; which they have. Not a lot, by any means, but we certainly used to dream of the days when we'd get three demos a week. Here's the full release list:

PS3fanboy writes: It seems that the Super Stardust HD upgrade pack that is "coming soon" is already available, in one form or another. Delete and re-download the game from the EU PSN Store and you might notice a few new, exciting features. Unfortunately, the game seems to have disappeared from our download list so we had to buy it again. A separate pack will hopefully be made available soon. We've been exploring the new version (2.02, according to the credits) for a little while and are very pleased with what we've found.

Yesterday, the Americans could go loose with Super Stardust HD. Today, everybody in Europe can do the same. Super Stardust ain't the only new content in de European store, hit the jump to see the full list.
The NA playstation 3 network (PSN) have been updated.A New Game Demo has been added along with the newest released GTAIV trailer and movie trailers.

Sony UK have today revealed a few new dates for the latest offerings bound for the PS3 Store, with MotorStorm's freely downloadable 'Time Attack' mode set for release this Friday - June 15th. As well as ushering in a new way to play the game, the online update also delivers a number of tweaks and enhancements, bolstering stability and the interface to boot.
