Double Fine developing Stacking DLC

Great news for Double Fine fans and writers with an affinity for cheap 'Soviet Russia' jokes! A recent tweet from THQ has revealed that Double Fine is now developing DLCfor itsRussian nesting doll adventure, Stacking. In Soviet Russia, article scrolls down you for more information!

Late last week, THQInsider hinted that it had some "very cool top secret things" brewing at THQ UK. Immediately thereafter, it posted a tweet announcing, “We had confirmation today that DLC for Stacking is in development! Look out for more details on this soon :)”

We greatly enjoyed Double Fine's quirky, depression-era puzzler, and given its warm reception amongst the gaming community, it's only natural that Double Fine would support Stacking in much the same fashion it has supported its other well-received downloadable title, Costume Quest.

Earlier this year, THQ's head of core gaming, Danny Bilson, stated that the publisher was very interested in extending its initial four game deal with Double Fine provided that the studio could keep producing hits. Considering this was said before Stacking was even released, it's a good bet that Double Fine and THQ are in for a long and fruitful partnership.
