Following its previous banning by the OFLC for being too violent, a revised version of the game has been submitted by Activision and received a rating of MA15+, granting it permission to be sold on Australian retail shelves.

Soldier of Fortune: Payback is all golden baby. The Xbox 360 and PC versions of the game will be out on the 13th and the PS3 version will be out on the 20th of this month. Destructoid got their hands on some new screen shots, but more importantly, they also got the Achievement list... You Achievement addicts will probably be pleased with this list as some of them look to be extremely easy to earn.

Australia's restrictive ratings classification system for games has struck again. This time, Activision's upcoming first-person shooter Soldier of Fortune: Pay Back has been hit, with Australia's Office of Film and Literature Classification (OFLC) effectively banning the game from sale down under.
