New SOCOM Confrontation screens

Fresh look at Sony's teamwork shooter

Several screens and some concept art for SOCOM Confrontation have cropped up online. The screens were originally posted on the semi-official Sony blog Three Speech and show off both the character models and the slightly better looking environments.

We recently reported that the online-focused shooter would let up to 32 players fight in seven maps in battles of strategy and teamwork via PSN.

From the sounds of it, it's squaring up to Call of Duty 4 and won't settle until one of them is licking dust from the boot of the loser.
