Edge reports that SOCOM: Confrontation developer Slant Six will roll out a patch on Tuesday as it aims to rectify some of the problems that have marred the launch of the title's public beta.
It seems to be an unfortunate trend of modern online gaming - last week it was Spore, and now it's Socom: Confrontation that has been plagued with online server issues. Do these people not see it coming?

Sony Computer Entertainment America have this weekend publicly apologised for the issues gamers have experienced attempting to participate in the SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Confrontation public beta.

Not only are people furiously starting to download the beta, but some who received a code are choosing to trade it in exchange for the Home beta. Looks like we got some beta trading going on here.
