So far since the launch of the new PS Store, European has seen it's fair share of good quality updates. Certainly, the situation appears to be much better than before and SCEE seem to be coming good on their promise that they would 'sort the situation out' by the Summer. It would be a shame, therefore, to see a lacklustre update this week, wouldn't it?

There's no American PSN update for today, unfortunately, so we'll have to rely on Sony Europe to deliver some nice Christmas goodies for us; which they have. Not a lot, by any means, but we certainly used to dream of the days when we'd get three demos a week. Here's the full release list: Super Stardust HD demo and upgrade (free) The Club demo (free) Snakeball demo (free) - now on the UK store

As we plowed through all the latest assets to come out of last weeks E3 we stumbled across two never-before-seen PlayStation network games. The first of these two games is Elefunk. An original puzzle based game that, from what we can tell, will play in much the same way as Lemmings. To save the elephants from falling into ravines and rivers you'll have to build structures from a range of materials, such as metal, wood or rope. Sony has revealed details on Snakeball, a brand new game making use of the recently announced PlayStation Eye camera. Snakeball has you gliding across the dance floor on a 'hoversnake' while collecting coloured balls to score points. Other players can reduce your point tally by whipping you with their tails or blasting you with various weapons. The camera can be used to add a personal touch by pasting your face onto your ingame snake rider. Three modes of play are featured in the game - a single player mode where the goal is to feed your snake and make it grow as long as possible (Snake, anyone?), a Challenge mode with different arenas to tackle and an online mode, where up to eight players can battle it out on one dance floor. Snakeball is set for release via the PlayStation Store in July.
