Siren Blood Curse was released in 2008 however it was only released on Disc in Japan, Europe, and Australia. In North America you had to purchase this from the PlayStation Store, unfortunately this game didnt have much in terms of publicity. I am actually willing to wager that most of you reading this have never heard of Siren Blood Curse.

PS3Fanboy writes: A survey sent out by SCEE today indicates that they are weighing up peoples' interest in the Siren franchise. The survey asks questions about Siren Blood Curse and asks people to rate various aspects out of 10. It also asks you whether you'd be willing to buy more games in the franchise in the future and how you'd like to receive them (either in one bunch, like Blood Curse or episodically.) Did you receive this survey? Even if you didn't, what are your thoughts on the game? Would you like to see more?

PS3 Fanboy writes: Big smiles on both sides of the Atlantic this week. America gets three big games in the form of LittleBigPlanet, MotorStorm PR and Fallout 3. Europe may not be getting their hands on LittleBigPlanet until next week, but at least they've got Fallout 3, Quantum of Solace and Valkyria Chronicles to tide them over which, from what we've seen, look to all be excellent titles. Here's the full release list: US Games * LittleBigPlanet * SingStar Vol. 2 * MotorStorm Pacific Rift * Fallout 3 (Collector's Edition) * Moto GP 08 * Baja 1000: Score International * Guitar Hero World Tour EU Games * Fallout 3 (Collector's Edition) * James Bond: Quantum of Solace * Siren: Blood Curse * Valkyria Chronicles * To End All Wars * Buzz! Quiz TV Special Edition * Hail To The Chimp Asian Games * Fallout 3 * Fracture * Gran Turismo 5: Prologue Spec III * Grand Theft Auto IV * LittleBigPlanet * SOCOM: Confrontation * Yamasa Digi World SP: Bounty Killer

Playstation.Blog writes: Hey PlayStation bloggers! I hope you are enjoying the authentic Japanese horror of SIREN: Blood Curse. It is the first survival horror game available on the PS3, and is available exclusively on PLAYSTATION Network. By now, I'm guessing some of you must have beaten the game already. If you have, that's great! If you haven't beat it yet, you've come to the right place! I have something for those who might be stuck or are having trouble getting through certain parts you might find helpful in getting past those tricky Shibito (zombie-like undead people). And if you haven't tried the game yet, there's a great demo of it on PSN as well.

Siren: Blood Curse may be giving Silent Hill: Homecoming a run for its horror money this year, but there's one difference: Silent Hill is showing up at retail. Even though Sony has released Siren on a Blu-ray disc in Japan and Asia (with plans for Europe), there are still no plans for a proper retail release in the United States, Sony told MTV.
