DarkZero: Sony has announced they will be adding more songs to the Singstore this Thursday (24th July). It is believed this list of songs will only be available on the Euro store, with a different selection hitting the US one. This time there 19 English language songs to download, and a few more for other European countries. We'll happily download Letter From America this time, and go deep-fry a Mars Bar when we wait for the download to finish. The full list is:

For the past year GCN's been posting videos of "Netcasty". GCN's Editor-in-Chief Sean Foster stumbled upon Netcasty one day while looking at Erasure videos on youtube. Sony of Germany took notice and put Netcasty in an official Singstar video.

SingStar was released last week to retailers in the US, and already the first SingStore update is upon us.
Plenty of new tracks this Friday, including two from Avril Lavigne, Eurovision classic "Making Your Mind Up" from Bucks Fizz, another couple from Coldplay and Shaggy's "Oh Carolina".
Yesterday's 'version 2' update for SingStar seems to have brought more than just Harmony Mode. Indeed, you can now make use of SingStar Volume 2's best new feature, PSP connectivity, without buying Volume 2. Install the update patch, switch on Remote Play and if the SingStar disk is in the PS3 you can browse not only your media (videos, audio etc) stored on the PS3 harddrive but also access the SingStore and start your downloads going before you even get home from work.

Speaking at Sony's PlayStation Day in London, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe boss David Reeves has revealed that SingStar for the PlayStation 3 has sold in excess of 220,000 units.
Sony has revealed it will be filming a Europe-wide talent search for fresh acts to appear in SingStar.

PlayStation.com forum user StalkingSilence found more hidden information on SCEE's website regarding the upcoming PlayStation Day on May 6, 2008. The event page set up for the site, but currently not linked to anywhere else, displays several games related to the invite-only press event.
