PlayStation.com forum user StalkingSilence found the unopened SingStar site for US. Currently, the site routes you away from singstargame.com to the old PS2 site on us.playstation.com. Using a simple country code substitution, you can see the unopened US SingStore site - which is now LIVE.
Kotaku writes: "Last night famously famous folks like Carmen Electra, Paris Hilton, Benjia Madden and Danny Masterson descended on the T-Mobile Sidekick Tone-Def After Party during the Coacehella Festival in Southern California to drink (a lot) and play SingStar on the Playstation 3 (a little). The place was, I'd bet, pressure washed afterwards with a mix of bleach and acid. Still won't do any good, but they do try".

PS3fanboy: "SingStar is finally coming to American PS3 systems next month. On May 20th, PS3 fans will be able to pick up the game in either a standalone SKU or one that includes two microphones. The microphone and game combo will be $59.99, while the standalone disc will be $39.99. PS2 SingStar microphones will work with the PS3 game. The disc will feature 30 different songs. As usual for the franchise, each song includes the music video (in HD, if available)."

Darkzero writes: "Sony has announced that SingStar will be making its way to the PlayStation 3 in North America on May 20th. That's about seven long months since the game was released over here in Europe. The company did not release any info on what songs would included on the disc for the US release, and neither did they comment on how many songs would appear on the US Singstore come release. We are sure it will be all very different than what's available in Europe due to weird licensing laws."
Here is the full European track listing for the SingStore this Friday.
Last Friday saw yet another SingStar SingStore update. While it was a really rather large update, not many of the songs are in English and it was said by PS3Fanboy that even fewer are worth getting (The Clash and The Flaming Lips being our top choices). Instead there are plenty of songs from countries such as Sweden, Spain and Portugal to grab if you're up for a challenge.

Major League Baseball's Washington Nationals just moved into their new home ¿ Nationals Park ¿ and they, too, have a killer gaming den: The PlayStation Pavilion.
Another bumper selection of new tracks for the European SingStar this Friday, including more from Ash (GoldFinger), Maximo Park (Apply Some Pressure) and Roy Orbison (Pretty Woman). Full list included at the link.

Guess the SingStore's not as big a hit as Sony were hoping. That or they're just accommodating PS3 owners without an internet connection.
