Shaun White appeared on KROQ this morning...with a little bit of news to spill.
In a post-earnings conference call with investors, UbiSoft offered more detail as to how well Shaun White Snowboarding is performing in the market.
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot has told MCV that the publisher plans to expand its sports games in an attempt to gain more market ground in this category for 2009. Shaun White Snowboarding has been doing well, with sales generating over 500 million euro in the three months to December 31st. This is why Ubisoft are planning to gain more ground in the sports market, as Shaun White Snowboarding has given the company a taste of how successful sports games can be.
Ubisoft confirmed a slew of sales figures in its third quarter financials today, showing big numbers for its top line-up as explanation of a 13 percent like-for-like increase in sales for the period.

Today Ubisoft announces that the Glamour Pack downloadable content (DLC) for Shaun White Snowboarding for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and the PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment system is available now.
Videogamer writes: Ubisoft has this afternoon responded to pro snowboarder Shaun White's apparent confirmation that a second Shaun White Snowboarding title is in the works. However, when contacted by VideoGamer.com this afternoon, a spokesperson for Ubisoft said: We have not announced any plans for future projects with Shaun. While true, this is by no means a denial that a follow-up to the snowboarding game isn't being worked on.
