The wags in Sega UK's marketing department have come up with a new 'street advertising campaign' for the very good update of AM3 classic, Sega Rally. Fans are being asked to promote the game by writing its name and a relevant slogan onto their own dirty vehicles, then emailing in a piccie. The provider of the best photo wins a copy of Sega Rally, a PS3 and an extreme rally day experience. This is far from a new concept. They've been doing dirty car advertising in Moscow for ages and Ray Ban used the idea just a few months ago in its Never Hide campaign. However, it might be worth a try as there only appears to be one picture on the gallery at the moment...

MyGEN discover that you can successfully complete an entire race in the Sega Rally demo without ever touching the steering wheel. Includes a video of this in effect.

September 19, 2007 With so many game adverts featuring pre-rendered footage accompanied by a 'representative of in-game graphics' disclaimer, it's good to see a game showing off using nothing but its super-slick self. The new Sega Rally trailer does just that. Although it does keep on about it... The trailer shows the previously unseen Arctic track, which features very deep snow into which the cars' wheels dig deep troughs. There's also a glimpse of the third Tropical track, which features

Sept 10, 2007 It's only just over two weeks to go now before Sega Rally wheelspins into your local games emporium, and Sega has decided to let the lid off four new cars that feature in the game - the Mitsubishi Concept-X, HUMMER H3 SUV (Customized), the McRae Enduro and the RUF Rt 12. You can view the vehicles in the screenshots we've uploaded, and Sega has also provided the following information on each motor... Much-anticipated Sega title The Club will miss the Christmas release window, after the publisher admitted that its release has slipped until next year. The 360, PS3 and PC action title, which was developed by Project Gotham creators Bizarre Creations, was previously due for release at the end of this year.

30 Aug, 2007 Sega Rally's track deformation is superb. If ever a feature defined the advance of 'next-gen' graphics, it's this. But what does it mean for us gamers? Hours of fun slipping around in the mud, that's what. Forget the mud wrestling of Rumble Roses - this is sexier. And what's more, we've got a double-whammy of videos of it to show you. The first shows a classic Castrol liveried Celica doing donuts and washing off in a pool of water. Check out the way the water fills the trenches

Aug 21, 2007 Sega Rally's just a month or so away and we're itching to get behind the wheel again after our last encounter with it. To whet our appetite still further, Sega's sent us another trailer. In it, you'll see how the terrain changes as you climb from wet tarmac into snowy alpine roads and how your wheels leave true 3D indentations in the track surface. Check it out below, then hit the Movies tab if you missed the Tropical
