OXCGN reports that Australia gets Rise of the Argonauts earlier: Australia, along with Europe (not including the UK) will receive RotA on the 12th of December 2008, while the North American release date is 4 days later (16th December). Followed by the UK release sometime in early 09. Rise of the Argonauts immerses players in a gladiatorial adventure set in a wondrously imagined vision of ancient Greece. Taking the role of Jason, a hero and expert warrior, players will battle alongside Hercules, Achilles, Atalanta and other Argonauts as they engage in brutal combat against formidable beasts and enemies, in a vast world alive with fickle gods, jaw-dropping panoramas, deep exploration and epic quests.

Codemasters have released new video footage for Rise of the Argonauts, entitled 'Honour the Gods', along with 11 new screenshots. Rise of the Argonauts immerses players in a gladiatorial adventure set in a wondrously imagined vision of ancient Greece. Liquid Entertainment's Rise of the Argonauts has been delayed until 2009 in the UK, a Codemasters representative has told D+PAD. Rise of the Argonauts, which is being published by Codemasters, was originally due to launch across the UK this Friday, but now won't be seeing a release until early next year.

Codemasters have confirmed that, as part of their wider expansion strategy, they were looking to localise languages in certain emerging markets. Russia, the first on the list, will get full language support for all of Codemasters' 'AAA' games. IncGamers has more details.
