The year-long wait for a new Call of Duty is over. Find out if Black Ops II improves on the COD formula, or if it's just more of the same…
Wondering what to
expect from Modern Warfare 3? Look no further than the opening logo. As the
first letter of “MW3” dramatically flips to reveal a bright and blatant “WW3”
instead, the game both promises and warns you: This won’t be realistic, this
won’t make complete sense, but this will always
be epic. What little restraint the first two had managed to maintain is now

trilogy. If you’re willing to suspend disbelief and go along for that ride,
however, Modern Warfare 3 is more spectacularly scripted, unapologetically
over-the-top fun than ever...
As many of you might already know, God of War designer David Jaffe has quit making story-driven games, and for better or worse, stuff like Calling All Cars! is what he intends to create from now on. If unrealistically maneuverable spaceships don't quite suit your fancy, consider a more measured shooting and flying experience where momentum actually matters...
You should keep looking if a sprawling adventure is what you seek, but those gamers who love putting together a great warrior to battle his or her way through an arena will probably want to keep playing for hours.
Closure is a successful 2009 indie game that has won the acclaim of game designers and notable industry figures. Does the PSN game capture the spirit effectively?
Innovation is typically thin on the ground in tower defense games. Under the hood, very little changes: you’re still protecting your base - typically in a top-down perspective - by placing turrets and obstacles in the path of oncoming enemies. Well, Comet Crash innovates. You still do all of the above, but you do it while controlling a spaceship.
