PS3 Preview | Resistance: Fall of Man
The PlayStation 3 is just around the bend, and this was underscored this week not only by the arrival of our first retail system but also by a two-day trip down to Insomniac Games, where we played the living hell out of the shiny new first-person shooter, Resistance: Fall of Man. Insomniac seems proud of Resistance, even if it does seem a little unusual for such a dark, gritty game to come from the studio that brought us the funny and fuzzy Ratchet & Clank. PS3 Preview | Resistance: Fall of Man
The year is 1951, and mankind is on the verge of extinction. After appearing suddenly in Russia, monsters known as Chimera swept across Asia and Europe like a cancer. The game itself feels like a standard first-person shooter (although with a lot more rattling and destructible environments a la Black), ... » Read More
