Gamerzines, the site behind the free magazines for Xbox 360, PC games, PSP and DS, has launched its free PlayStation 3 magazine to co-incide with the UK launch of the console. As with other Gamerzines, the magazine is written by professional games journalists and offered for free in a digital format. All that is required is Adobe Reader 8 on a PC. The magazine is enhanced with videos and multimedia that play on the pages themselves.

PSU was talking to some of the people showing up at GDC, and this little interesting tidbit came across their desks. A middleware company informed them that Insomniac was working on a sequel to Resistance. They didn't want to tell them anything beyond the name: "Rise of Man".
In a sit down with N'Gai Croal, Phil Harrison talks up Resistance: Fall of Man a bit and mentions that Sony is prepping new content for their shooter and that we can expect to start seeing the new stuff this April.
Australians still haven't been told exactly when in March the PlayStation 3 is set to launch, but at least local gamers are beginning to get a firm idea of exactly what games can be expected. Sony Computer Entertainment Australia (SCEA) has now confirmed five of its titles will be there from the PS3's first day of sale, bringing the expected number of launch games to 17.
PS3 games like Resistance: Fall of Man and the upcoming Motorstorm already look fantastic. Sony CEO Howard Stringer (right) argues that these games are barely using 25% of the system's "bandwidth." He also thinks Sony can break even on PS3 costs at the end of this year.
