Erik Estavillo claims Sony Computer Entertainment violated his freedom of speech by banning him from an online video game portal, which he claims he uses as a tool to overcome agoraphobia. In videos posted to YouTube, Estavillo can be heard saying racial and homophobic slurs to other online gamers, for which Sony revoked his online access to their network.
Insomniac Games has said that it "would be silly" to think that Resistance would be the developer's last new IP, revealing that the Burbank-based studio will be developing new IPs "at some point in the future".

Insomniac Games has created some incredible games for the PlayStation consoles over the past 15 years. Spyro the Dragon, Ratchet and Clank, and Resistance are some of the well known franchises included in that line up, but it's a sin not to recognize the less famous titles the developer punched out, like Disruptor, as well. Insomniac recently announced, in fact, that they have sold an astonishing 32 million plus PlayStation exclusive games.

WildStorm (a branch of DC Comics) will be unleashing a 6 part graphic novel series which will utilize the universe of Resistance and it's primary protagonist named Nathan Hale. Mike Costa touts the writer credit, while Ramón Pérez will be at helm of the art. The issues are expected to cover the various events leading up to the beginning of the second title and serve as a direct tie-in to the game's plotline.
