Michael Owen dons Konami shirt for PES 2008

Michael Owen has just been signed up to appear on the UK packaging of PES 2008 and will appear on the cover alongside Cristiano Ronaldo when the game is released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, PSP, PC and DS in Autumn.

We’re desperate to get our first touch of PES 2008 and it looks like we’ll get our wish on 22 August when the game will be shown in playable form at this year’s Leipzig Game Convention. We’ll be there, boots in hand, to bring you our first impressions and hands-on verdict. So stay tuned.
