&lt;p&gt;At one time we&amp;#8217;ve all done it, or seen it done. We&amp;#8217;ve stood in front of the class and delivered a report on a book we&amp;#8217;ve never read. Rarely was it ever successful, and even when it was, we all knew the report would have been better had we actually read the damn book.
