Possession is 100% alive and kicking, from the article:

"Work on Possession is temporarily on hold but only because we've reassigned the team to work on a major new project on PS3 and Xbox 360," said a senior spokesperson for the company.

The game's engine used Natural Motion's Endorphin Engine, a unique and innovative animation system that allowed for game characters to react realistically to their environments and never show the same animation twice.
Here's one Blitz Games product you won't find packaged in with your Burger King meal: Possession, which casts you as The Enslaver, a flakey-faced zombie with the power to command his army of equally undead buddies. And guess what? He's pissed off.

And here's what he's going to do about it: take down the Prometheus Corporation - the mysterious company which manufactured the chemicals that turned him and his friends into intelligent zombies. In practice this means directing your cohorts around ...
eBay Tightens Next-Gen Console Pre-Orders (News)

Online auction website eBay has imposed strict new regulations on the sales of next generation console pre-orders, while removing all existing listings for the PlayStation 3 until the new procedures are in place.

A posting in the eBay Trust & Safety forum includes a statement from the company's customer support department which indicates that "due to the high demand and limited supply of this item we are taking stronger measures to protect both buyers and sellers in the eBay community. Currently, eBay is not permitting 'Pre-Sale' of this item, and sellers who list it on eBay must have physical possession of the products at time of listing."

In order for subsequent listings to be allowed, sellers will be required to fax eBay additional confirmation of their identity, including driver's license or similar ID, credit card statements and a receipt for the console.

Following the start of pre-orders for the PlayStation 3 last week, which were quickly ended the same day as allocations were used up, listings immediately began to appear on eBay offering the console for anything up to $800,000 ¿ with no more than a pre-order receipt as proof that the console would be supplied.

With Wii pre-orders also reportedly sold-out, despite much larger allocations compared to the PlayStation 3, eBay appear keen to avoid the significant black market that emerged alongside the launch of the Xbox 360 and which saw the console regularly selling for two or three times its suggested price while stock was still low.
Currently in construction by euro-developer Blitz, Possession blends realtime strategy with zombies - the twist being that players actually get to take charge on the undead.

As the Enslaver, your goal is to destroy an entire city using an army of the undead built from its inhabitants. Blitz is promising "carnage at all costs" across the "free-form and reactive city. How you choose to destroy it is up to you." Sounds good to us.

No doubt we'll be seeing more of Possession at E3 but for now, ...
