Ninja Gaiden Sigma

Ninja Gaiden Sigma

The former Xbox 360 exclusive is reinvented for the PS3

The war between Xbox 360 and PS3 is over. Sony’s mighty machine stands laughing triumphantly over the smoking corpse of Microsoft’s workhorse. At least, it does in Japan, where it took less than a month for sales of PS3 to outstrip those of the Xbox 360. And that’s good news indeed. Why? Because the immediate and brilliant result of such a trouncing is that some of Xbox’s finest, so-called “exclusive,” games are now appearing on PS3, complete with all the visual upgrades and enhancements you’d expect from such a powerful machine.

Okay, so, yes, we’re glossing over the fact that Ninja Gaiden Sigma is actually a remake of an Xbox classic as opposed to a totally new game (don’t worry, that’ll come soon enough). But seriously, there’s been so much upgraded-graphics love thrown at this game that even fans of the Xbox original will find it hard to compare the two. And if you’ve never played Ninja Gaiden before? Well, we can assure you, you’ll be in for a treat!
