A rapidly evolving games industry has made 2008's Ninja Gaiden II outdated, according to Ninja Gaiden 3 producer Yosuke Hayashi. Speaking to VideoGamer.com via a translator at a London press event earlier today, Hayashi discussed how the team took criticisms of Ninja Gaiden II on board for the upcoming Ninja Gaiden 3. The good things we want to improve more and bad things we want to change, he said. Most of all, basically, for the previous series - Ninja Gaiden II is already outdated, I feel. That's why, as you see, the industry evolution for game creation and game development already has been changed and paradigm shifted.
Tomonobu Itagaki, the developer behind some of the most difficult console games on Earth, wants you to know he’s sorry for all those times he kicked your ass. In an interview in the new issue of Edge Magazine (issue 218, on newsstands now), the creator of Dead or Alive and the newer Ninja Gaiden games acknowledged that some of his past work has been “too difficult,” and – more relevantly – that his 2012-bound shooter, Devil’s Third, won’t be as frustrating...

This morning, it appears that Microsoft have launched a minor, and rather bizarre, marketing campaign. Directly highlighting the rivalry for those in-the-know and referring to an Xbox 360 release that's now regularly available at a discounted price, it appears Microsoft still have faith in the original release of Ninja Gaiden II.
In affiliation with Amazon.com, TripleChat is happy to bring you the new releases each week for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, and PlayStation Portable. Along with new game releases they will also highlight the top five bluray releases each week that they feel will best suite movie and TV show fans alike. Remember last week? Remember how uneventful it was? Well guess what, that's over this week. While game wise the selection is about the same on the PS3 and PS2 – this week it is all about the PSP Go. Oh yes, after just a few short months of waiting since E3, the PSP Go launches this week (October 1 to be exact)! Included this week in their special PSP Go Launch Center are the two big releases this week for both the Go and PSP 1000-3000 and those are Gran Turismo and MotorStorm: Arctic Edge. On PS3 the biggest release this week is the sequel to Ninja Gaiden Sigma. Slated originally as a 360 exclusive (as was the predecessor), the sequel comes to us with more features, better graphics, and maybe even more cleavage! On the bluray side of things the biggest release this week is the 70th Anniversary Collector's Edition of The Wizard of Oz. Outside of taking a stroll down the yellow brick road, they have two animated flicks for you – one featuring Monsters and Aliens, the other featuring Superman and Batman. To finish it there is a 2003 remake of a classic coming to high def for the super low price of $10 and one of the better independent films of 2009!
We got something great going on for us this week, something we Europeans have been waiting for. Nothing can match the popularity of this product, not even a Game like Modern Warfare 2. Just take a look at the list of this Week.

For those of you in the US or EU, if you don't feel like waiting until next week for the Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Demo, it will be available in the Japanese PlayStation Store this week. Also if you've got Batman: Arkham Asylum make sure to download the free Insane Night DLC. Lastly, Trine developer Frozenbyte says the long-awaited game is coming tomorrow, but given it's track record, we'll be keeping it in the Rumored Section just in case. Let's hope it's worth the wait.
