Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is a game. Sounds obvious right? That’s like saying grass is green, water is wet, Ryan Seacrest is evil. Wrong. In an age where games are desperately trying to be movies, rock concerts, sporting events or fitness aids, it’s wonderfully refreshing when a game comes along that is so blatantly sure of itself and its medium. ...
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 – hands-on
There's a softer air of 'accessibility' about this hack 'n' slash sequel
Sep 2, 2009
The way of the warrior, according to the first Ninja Gaiden Sigma, is to live in the moment, because you probably won’t be alive for very long. Treat every battle like it’s your last, because that end-of-level boss can kill you with a single punch. Failure is a state of mind. It isn’t the game’s fault you haven’t mastered it. ...   » Read Full Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 preview

Xbox 360 owners have been enjoying Ninja Gaiden 2 for a whole year already and until now PS3 owners have had to settle for their 'Sigma' version of the first game for their ninja killing fix. Finally an updated version of NG2 is heading to the Sony machine, but while it's bigger and better in almost every respect, there's one thing that's certainly not. Gore ...   » Read Full Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 preview

If you include Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword for the DS, the newly-announced PS3-exclusive Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 will be the sixth release for the franchise since Tecmo relaunched it on the Xbox in 2004. That's a lot of games in only five years' time, but during their announcement of Sigma 2 at GDC, Tecmo got to explain how this latest slash-em-up will live up to their concept of the "ultimate Ninja Gaiden game." ...   » Read Full Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 preview

I totally agree, this is suppose to be goory.this game is not made for young children to play, most of player that would play this is more on older one. this game very disappointing for a ACTION genre.i feel like i wasted my money in buying this one, they should have not remove the goor and NUDITY hmmpf nudity is Having no clothing...most gamers want goor

They have completely castrated a great game. Blue glowing jello when you cut off someone's arm?! Where is did the arm go? Is this f****ing Pokemon? The WORST part of Ninja Gaiden Sigma was the boring and poorly designed Rachel add-on. Now, Team Ninja has decided to take out the gore, ALA Nintendo Mortal Kombat 1991, and given us more poor extra character crap. What is this, Ninja Gaiden for children? This game might as well be rated T . When will developers learn to leave good games alone? Leave 'em alone! I wanted a port of Ninja Gaiden 2 with some new features, not an edited mess. I am boycotting this game now that I have played the demo. I would rather go buy a $19 copy of the REAL game for Xbox than give these schlocks $60 for censored anime- inspired garbage. This version might be nice for a 16 year old who wants to look at cartoon boobs, but I am a 30 year old gamer. I wanted this one for gore, combos, and content. Not cartoon boobs. I can look at real ones whenever I want to. And what is with the "partial nudity" thing anyways? These girls have clothes, man. You are either "nude", or you are wearing clothes...that's how the f*** it works! False advertising. How do bathing suits constitute an M rating and "nudity"? You can go to the beach and see more nudity than this, and for free, at any age you happen to be. The censoring of the gore in this game is just PITIFUL. Ninja Gaiden was SUPPOSED to be gory, adult action game oriented. They've turned it into a Soul Caliber level farce. I can't speak for all, but I think the best animes were ones like Samurai X; adult content in a cartoon format. That's what Ninja Gaiden 1, Black, Sigma, and 2 were. I played 2 on the Xbox with friends, and played the demo of this piece of crap today. Remember how disappointed you were with the SNES version of Mortal Kombat? You had fountains of white goo instead of blood, while your Genesis friends had a gleeful port of the arcade. What sense does that make? One obviously knows the original Ninja Gaiden 2 if they want to buy this game. Why piss people off? Sorry, Team Ninja. Or should I say, Ninja Dogs. One less bottle of Saki for you guys tomorrow night.
